I’ve heard some of my peers say that the presence of video lighting at a wedding can be a nuisance. I actually don’t mind it even welcome it. True as the photographers, we may need to make some adjustments when other light sources are present and it’s important to communicate with the vendors filming the wedding about what lighting will be used when. That said the presence of video lighting offers the opportunity to capture cool silhouettes, and play around with rim lighting, and backlit subjects. I am just about wrapping up the edits for this wedding and although I plan to share more from this beautiful affair soon, I just had to pop on to share this beautiful parent dance moment captured in all it’s LED rim lit, silhouette glory. More to follow soon!
