We had the pleasure of attending the Ribbon-cutting ceremony for Westchester Magazine’s Dream Home 2012 last Thursday at Hudson Harbor. The event brought together Westchester’s best architects and designers. The American Dream Home 2012 combines modern convenience, high quality American-made products and locally sourced materials, all while generating minimal environmental impact.
The American Dream Home is located in an exclusive, cutting edge green community of LEED-registered, ENERGY STAR-efficient homes known as “The Carriage Houses.” This year’s American Dream Home is also a Pop-up shop, where visitors can purchase home furnishings hand-selected by award-winning interior designer Susan Anthony, lead architect for the American Dream Home. Visitors can purchase furniture, usually reserved for designers, all at a reduced price.
Tours of the beautiful American Dream Home begin October 19th, with public access every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10AM to 5PM. Visitors can learn about the historic architecture, artisan details, energy efficient features, and the picturesque Hudson Harbor waterfront community.
